Job Description
Position: Lab technician
Location: Albany NY 12203 (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months contract
Job Details:
Currently seeking for a technician working in physical characterization and failure analysis (FA) lab. Technician will work with the lead engineer to perform fault isolation and physical characterization of advanced semiconductor technology development wafers. Need to independently operate optical microscope scanning electron microscope (SEM) focus ion beam (FIB) polishing and chemical highlighting technique in fume hood.
This job requires a candidate to work on the alternate week day shift. Week 1 (Mon Tue Fri Sat 7am to 7pm each day) & Week 2 (Sun Wed Thu 7am to 7pm each day).
Other Skills Desired Years in each skill where applicable:
1) Prior experience in semiconductor industry. (5 years)
2) Understanding of basic integrated circuit. (5 years)
3) Operation of SEM/FIB/optical microscope (5 years)
