Position Overview
We are hiring a Scale Operator/Customer Service professional for our West Tulsa location. This customer-facing role blends accurate weighing data entry and inventory/transaction tracking while keeping the yard and office organized. The Scale Operator/Customer Service role requires strong math skills computer proficiency and a friendly professional approach.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate scale systems to weigh incoming/outgoing materials.
- Learn and apply metal identification techniques (training provided).
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Perform basic office tasks including data entry and record keeping.
- Use computer systems efficiently for inventory and transaction tracking.
- Apply basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
Required Experience & Skills
- Outgoing and personable demeanor with strong customer service skills.
- Proficient computer use (Microsoft Office data entry systems).
- Solid math skills and high attention to detail.
- Reliable with excellent attendance and willingness to learn and grow.
