Job Summary
We are actively recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Neurologist to join a thriving and respected healthcare organization in Shelton Connecticut. This is a full-time direct hire role offering clinical autonomy strong referral support and a stable practice environment.
Position Overview:
- Location: Shelton CT
- Schedule: Full-time outpatient-focused (MondayFriday)
- Start Date: Flexible based on physician availability
- Employment Type: W-2 direct hire
- Compensation: Competitive base salary bonus structure
- Benefits: Comprehensive package including health dental vision malpractice with tail PTO CME and 401(k)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate diagnose and treat a wide range of neurological disorders (e.g. headaches seizures stroke MS neuropathies etc.)
- Perform and interpret EMGs EEGs and other neurodiagnostic studies (if applicable)
- Collaborate with referring primary care physicians and specialists
- Maintain detailed and accurate medical records using EMR
- Minimal or no hospital call (depending on structure)
Ideal Candidate:
- MD or DO degree with completion of Neurology residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for medical licensure in Connecticut
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fellowship training in subspecialties (optional but welcomed e.g. epilepsy movement disorders neuromuscular)
