Overview:
Join our team as a motivated Strategy and PMO Director. Drive Lab Plastics Essentials future by implementing strategic plans and leading the Project Management organization.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy:
Partner with the division leadership team to develop and refine the divisions long-term strategic plan.
- Develop and track important metrics to measure progress towards strategic goals.
- Lead planning sessions and workshops across the organization and coordinate the annual STRAP process.
- Develop and curate operations network strategy across all sites and supply chain.
- Communicate the strategic vision and goals to all employees.
- Project Management Office (PMO):
- Lead and manage the PMO team setting vision direction and performance expectations
- Develop and implement project management methodologies standard processes and tools.
- Ensure consistent application of project management processes across all functions and Business Units.
- Establish and manage a comprehensive project portfolio prioritizing projects based on strategic alignment and demonstrating the value of the Big Rocks and A3 processes
- Monitor project progress and performance identifying and mitigating risks
- Provide mentorship and support to project managers throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead process improvement efforts for the division striving to enhance operational effectiveness throughout the organization. Develop a roadmap of projects that deliver significant value across business units and functions.
- Additional Responsibilities:
Manage the PMO budget and resources effectively.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and improve future performance.
- Collaborate with other departments like Finance HR and IT to guarantee alignment and backing for central initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within strategy project management or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic plans.
- Extensive knowledge of project management methodologies and standard processes (e.g. Agile Waterfall).
- Experience leading and managing a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelors degree in business administration project management or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
