Central Coast Home Health and Hospice is a fast-growing locally owned and operated organization with an excellent reputation throughout San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara counties. We are constantly growing and now seeking an individual for Full timeMedical Data Entryto join our Intake team in the San Luis Obispo office. This is not a REMOTE POSITION.
This individual will receive all incoming faxes and communication from doctors offices hospitalsetc. Responsibilities includereviewingfaxesdeterminingwhere to route them andinputting all newpatient referrals into our computer system in order tocreate patientelectronic medical records correctly. This position alsoassists in answering phones as back up to receptionist and supporting the rest of the intake team.
We are seeking an individual with previous work experience in a busy office environment preferably in a healthcare setting. Must have strong communication and computer skills the ability to type at least 40 WPM excellent attention to detail phone etiquetteand have the ability to workwell independently and in a team environment.
Work schedule: fulltime hours Monday through Friday 8:30-5:30 with a weekend rotation
