Your Impact:
As a Full-Time Area Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of multiple stores within your zone. You will:
Coordinate the management resource allocation and performance of your assigned stores.
Lead weekly discussions with store managers to share resources set priorities and monitor workflow.
Support store managers in staff rostering training development donations management volunteer coordination local marketing store sales and seasonal promotions.
Provide guidance coaching and development opportunities to store managers to maximize team performance.
Champion compliance with Good Sammy retail standard operating procedures and ensure effective application of store manager delegations.
Collaborate with Supply & Logistics People & Culture and other Head Office teams to ensure stores are properly resourced and supported.
In this role you will be instrumental in creating a culture of operational excellence teamwork and community impact across your zone.
What youll do:
Analyse reports to make innovative commercial decisions that drive the stores & manage controllable costs in line with budgets and guidelines to maximise profit.
Promote effective sharing of resources staff and stock to operate at optimal efficiency.
Establish and nurture a culture focused on ensuring retail team members are empowered and supported to develop and achieve their employment goals.
Implement top-tier customer service standards that are consistent across stores to enhance the in-store experience.
Contribute to the preparation of annual budgets.
Undertake responsibility for projects including new store openings with respect to planning co-ordination implementation and administration.
Maintain visual merchandising excellence to ensure the stores reflect the Brand vision.
Oversee the stock management and rotation in stores to maximise sales opportunities based on client demographics.
What Youll Bring:
You will be ethical and have a passion for our Purpose to Create meaningful employment opportunities and pathways for people with disability.
Significant experience in retail management preferably within the not-for-profit or charity sector.
Strong leadership and people skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Strong financial acumen and the ability to interpret and utilise data.
A keen eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
You will be required to travel between various store locations as part of your role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
C Class Drivers Licence.
Cert IV or similar in Retail Management.
Degree in Business Management or similar.
