Job Description
We are looking for a Transmission Technician to join our growing team! Youll be diagnosing servicing and repairing transmission systems in vehicles: inspecting parts replacing worn or damaged components performing fluid changes and utilizing diagnostic tools to verify functionality through test drives.

Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
- Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
- Diagnose maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications
- 1 year of Automotive Technician experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ford Certification preferred
- Mid-level technician skills with experience in diagnostics electrical systems and engine repairs
- Strong manual dexterity and precise hand-eye coordination
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues and use diagnostic tools effectively
- Good communication skills paired with basic computer literacy
- Energetic approachable personality with a strong desire for continuous learning
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced constantly evolving setting
- Cooperative team player who works well with others
- Quick to pick up new technologies procedures and service techniques
- Must hold a valid drivers license and maintain a clean driving record
