Bensalem Township School District is hiring for Teaching Assistants/Kindergarten Student Success Champion for the 2025-2026 school year at Cornwells Elementary School
The Teaching Assitant will assist the teacher in maintaining the most effective level of instruction possible and will be actively involved in the instructional program.
Applicants must have an Associates Degree/48 college credits or paraprofessional certificate withappropriate and relevant experience.
Primary Responsibilities: 1. Support Positive Student Behavior (Top Priority): Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce positive behavioral expectations. Support students in practicing and generalizing school-wide behavior expectations. Participate in the implementation of behavior plans including consistent use of strategies and tools identified by the teacher or administration. Collect observational or structured behavior data for students not identified with disabilities as requested. Facilitate or co-lead restorative practices such as restorative circles or problem-solving meetings. Assist in reteaching expected behaviors in response to behavioral incidents.
This position can be closed at any time at the discretion of the School District.
