As a Cross-Referencing Specialist you support our customers through our work with other functions to identify the right products to offer to meet the customers particular requirements.
12-month contract with the option to work from home in Portugal
Entry-level position
Your Responsibilities:
- Recommend strategy-specific cross references; leverage existing data and identify new cross references by researching product specifications and applying product and application knowledge
- Identify alternative cross references to suggest margin improvement and customer savings options
- Maintain appropriate levels of active communication within the team advising of progress and identifying challenges to manage deadlines and balance workload. Bringing up where vital.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in biology chemistry or related scientific field or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment instrumentation and consumables
- Familiarity with major laboratory supply brands both internal and external to the company
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and demonstrate flexibility with priorities
- Excellent computer and interpersonal skills
- Qualified and enjoy working with large data sets.
- Display strong attention to detail.
