Job Description
Are you ready to embark on an exciting career opportunity We are currently looking for a Business Controller / Senior Business Controller in Czechia & Slovakia to become a valued member of the Finance Business Controlling team at KONE. The frontline consists of 2 countries of Czechia & Slovakia. This position offers a unique chance for energetic and enthusiastic professionals with a proven track record to drive results and play a valuable role in the team. As a trusted business partner you will contribute to the strategic development and operational excellence of New Building Solutions and Modernization division at KONE.
Location: Prague or Bratislava
What will be your responsibilities
Acting as finance expert and business partner toward management team providing actionable insight and guiding commercial decisions toward profitable growth
Prepare results variances analysis and recommendations on reporting and accounting matters
Go beyond standard actuals understanding toward forward looking business development to influence decision-making and execution excellence.
Ensuring accuracy of controlling activities such as budgeting on time and high-quality month end closing actual results reporting (e.g. Balance Sheet P&L Cash Flow etc) and forecast preparation incl. KPIs variance analysis
Responsible for overall Project Order Book management & demand planning (units value margins project life-cycle profitability etc.) with delivery operational team
Support financial statement audit and internal control policies compliance and governance model implementation
Support strategic and long-term planning including market & competitors analysis
Continues process improvement and support to various stakeholders including adoption and constant improvement of the KONE Way processes.
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience
Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field.
CIMA/ACCA qualifications or undergoing will be an asset
Self-motivated and result driven personality with strong project management skills
Ability to influence and drive process improvements end-to-end
Sound business acumen demonstrated by ability to combine the key financial and commercial KPIs with understanding of core business drivers and related challenges
Excellent knowledge of Excel is a must
Strong people skills to engage and influence non-finance peers & colleagues
Good presentation & communication skills (incl. Power Point)
Knowledge of SAP and related SAP Business Planning & Consolidation tool will be an asset
Fluent command of English (verbal and written) is a must due to peers interaction across KONE EEM areas
Ability to operate in fast changing and matrix environment.
