A-Gas Americas is seeking a full-time Field Service Technician to join our team. This position offers competitive pay of $26 $32 per hour and a benefits package that includes:

ABOUT THIS ROLE
This full-time role is generally scheduled Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with the expectation to be available for on-call shifts including overnight and out-of-town travel at least 12 nights per month.
As a Field Refrigerant Technician most of the day will be spent on the road and at client job sites. You will drive a company-provided truck to customer locations unload equipment and set up recovery systems to pull refrigerant from units of varying sizes. Some jobs will be brief residential systems while others may require multiple days to recover hundreds or thousands of pounds of refrigerant. You will handle and move heavy cylinders connect hoses and recovery machines and ensure all refrigerant is captured safely. Once recovered you will consolidate cylinders complete labels and log details into daily work orders. Between assignments you will maintain the truck and equipment submit reports and expenses and communicate directly with customers to explain the work being done answer questions and identify potential opportunities for additional services or buy-backs.

WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR IN A FIELD REFRIGERANT TECHNICIAN
- Experienced in the service industry or as a service technician
- EPA certification (preferred but must be obtained within the first 90 days)
- CDL Class C license (preferred but must be obtained within the first 90 days)
- Mechanically inclined
