Developmental Pathways (DP) has an opportunity for a Billing Support Specialist in our Early Intervention Department. The Billing Support Specialist will provide professional-level administrative support to a variety of roles and work processes. This role will develop and maintain systems of organization distribution and communication. The Billing Support Specialist will provide additional case management support to Case Managers including implementing promoting and maintaining effective and efficient processes and operations across departments. This role will assist and support staff with the administrative execution of their job duties.
This role offers a 4-day 40-hour workweek Monday-Thursday and includes the flexibility to work remotely as well as the opportunity to collaborate in-person at our headquarters office in Aurora CO and/or at off-site locations.

Valid Colorado motor vehicle license and provide proof of motor vehicle insurance
Meet our driving requirements - no suspensions and no more than two (2) tickets in the past three (3) years

Preferred
Associates Degree in business and/or equivalent education and experience
Three years (3) administrative support or customer service experience
Experience in human services or nonprofit fields
Knowledge of Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
Additional Responsibilities
Enter accurate documentation into state-held billing system so that providers can appropriately bill and receive payment for services rendered
Ensure the accuracy and timely entry for appropriate parties to support billing and service provision purposes
Manage Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and billing data for service providers; enter IFSP data into state databases; support and resolve billing issues
Research participants service utilization Medicaid coverage and previously provided services and support and provide administrative support with waiver enrollments; submit appropriate paperwork to Medicaid for waiver enrollments and ongoing Medicaid coverage
Provide professional-level feedback and follow-up to other professional-level staff regarding mistakes or missed steps in Department processes and procedures (i.e. for IFSP and revision completion and entry into PAR system)
Calculate all support levels and communicate changes to providers case managers and other pertinent staff
Review/approve/manage Home Health PARs as assigned
Keep up to date on all state policies and procedures related to invoices; analyze work completed to identify and report on trends
Operate independently using Health Care Policy and Financing rules regulations policies and procedures as well as directives from the Associate Directors Program Managers and other senior leadership to provide technical guidance to internal and external stakeholders to generate solutions to problems or coordinate with case management staff for resolution and follow up
Support supervisor with data analysis by ensuring data integrity and data maintenance
Maintain various tracking documents; enters data and generates database reports including reports related to Intake transfers or terminations
