Job Description

Join the Burger Urge Team: National Operations Coordinator

Were ambitious adventurous and authentic and now were on the hunt for a National Operations Coordinator to keep our people projects and operations running smoothly.

The Role

Position: National Operations Coordinator

Reports to: Head of Operations

Youll be the central link between our Operations HR and Support Office teams ensuring our recruitment onboarding office management and operations support functions are seamless. From finding top talent to supporting national projects youll make sure the Burger Urge team is set up to succeed.

What Youll Be Doing

Talent & Recruitment

  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for Support Office and Corporate Venue roles.
  • Write and post engaging job ads to attract top candidates.
  • Screen applicants conduct phone interviews and coordinate hiring processes.
  • Manage compliance requirements (right-to-work reference checks etc.) and maintain accurate recruitment data.

Onboarding & Employee Experience

  • Deliver a smooth professional onboarding process from contracts to first-day orientation.
  • Support new hires through their transition and ensure they feel welcomed into the BU family.
  • Track onboarding surveys and feedback to improve employee experience.

Operations Support

  • Assist with venue openings refurbishments training support and national projects.
  • Help coordinate performance programs recognition initiatives and training content.
  • Provide day-to-day assistance to the Operations team ensuring key priorities are delivered on time.

Office Management & Administration

  • Support the leadership team with diary management travel bookings and expense reporting.
  • Keep the Support Office running smoothly supplies schedules and team events.
  • Assist with ad hoc admin reporting and project coordination.

What Were Looking For

  • Proven recruitment & HR experience (end-to-end recruitment onboarding compliance).
  • Strong communicator who can engage with everyone from candidates to senior leaders.
  • Highly organised multitasker with excellent attention to detail.
  • Tech savvy with systems like MS Office TANDA Humanforce SharePoint and .
  • A natural problem-solver with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional approachable and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
