Based at the Centre for Childrens Research Centre adjacent to Qld Childrens Hospital in South Brisbane
We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Implementation Science) to join our national concussion research initiative. This position will play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing a large-scale study aimed at driving the uptake of the newly published Australian and New Zealand Guidelines for the Management of Concussion and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury in Adults and Children (). Working alongside a world-class multidisciplinary team including neurologists GPs neuropsychologists clinicians implementation scientists and human design engineersyou will help ensure these guidelines achieve maximum impact in clinical practice across Australia. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-profile transformative health initiative that bridges cutting-edge research with real-world application.
Key responsibilities will include:
Oversee all aspects of the research project including planning timelines recruitment ethics compliance and day-to-day operations ensuring high-quality delivery of project milestones.
Apply best-practice implementation frameworks and methodologies to evaluate and enhance the adoption of the new concussion guidelines within healthcare settings.
Work closely with healthcare professionals researchers and industry partners to promote the uptake of the guidelines foster relationships and ensure effective knowledge translation to end-users.
Produce high-quality research publications contribute to competitive grant applications and support the supervision and development of students and early career researchers in the field.

Completion or near completion of a PhD.
An emerging profile in research in implementation science or brain injury.
Evidence of publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting at conferences.
Evidence of contributions towards successfully obtaining external research funding.
Some experience in meaningful internal service roles and contributions towards external activities
