We currently have an opportunity for an Automation Technician to join our team at our manufacturing facility in Huntersville NC.
Pay: Starts at $29.11 based on experience
12 hours Night Shift
Shift information:
Thermo-6:45pm-7:00am
IM-6:15pm-6:30am
2-2-3 rotation
Responsibilities
Your Role:
As an Automation Technician you will be responsible for diagnosing troubleshooting and repairing all high-speed automation equipment including but not limited to thermoforming injection molding and straws.
You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!
- Perform electrical and mechanical PMs to ensure integrity of automation equipment.
- Perform changeovers on equipment to package various products.
- Assist in modifying new and existing plant equipment to improve performance and productivity.
- Work with the engineering group on special projects.
- PLC and drive programming.

Requirements
We need you to have:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in industrial automation electrical.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Understanding of pneumatic systems.
- Experience troubleshooting PLCs.
- Demonstrated ability to coach teach and lead other operational personnel.
- Ability to read write and speak English.
- Availability to work overtime and flexible shifts.
Icing on the cake:
- Associates degree in maintenance or a related field.
