Job Summary

As a Senior UX Designer youll be at the forefront of shaping the user experience for our cutting-edge cardiovascular visualization solutions. Partnering with cross-functional teams youll craft intuitive user-friendly interfaces that enhance usability and efficiency. Through design thinking research and close collaboration with experts and stakeholders youll transform insights into impactful solutions that balance business priorities with clinician needs. Leveraging your experience with SaMD (software-as-a-medical-device) or Medical Imaging youll ensure every design is not only seamless and consistent but also delivers meaningful compliant insights to physicians and their patients.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills able to work closely with Product and Engineering teams to make product visions come to life.
- Experience planninguser research and usability testing and synthesizingdata into actionable design insights.
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced environment to think critically and to work independently and with a team.
- Demonstrated understanding of the regulatory framework for product Formative/Summative Usability Testing with documentation for regulatory requirements and provideddesign rationale to support regulatory submissions.
- Extensive experience with product design/agile software tools methodologies and best practices (Figma or similar Jira Confluence).
- Bachelors degree in design Human-Computer Interaction or a related field.
- 5 years of design and related experience in the MedTech space.
- This role is based out of our office in Boston MA. We operate in a hybrid model with regular in-office days Monday and Wednesday.
At Elucid we believe the best work happens in a flexible hybrid environment. Boston-area employees are encouraged to work from the office on Mondays and Wednesdays with the option to come in additional days if they prefer. Fully remote employees outside the Boston area come in as needed.
