As a Senior Pre-Sales Engineer or Pre-Sales Manager takes ownership of technical pre-sales strategy customer relationships and team leadership. They play a key role in driving large- scale deals influencing product roadmaps and managing the pre-sales function within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and drive pre-sales strategy for enterprise-level customers.
- Manage key accounts and high-value customer relationships.
- Lead executive-level discussions influencing IT investment decisions.
- Oversee high-profile PoCs ensuring business alignment and success.
- Design and validate complex enterprise IT solutions integrating multiple technologies.
- Collaborate with product teams to refine solutions based on customer needs.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
- Oversee and review technical RFP/RFI responses for large-scale deals.
- Define pricing models ROI analysis and cost-benefit studies for solutions.
- Drive partnerships with vendors to enhance solution offerings.
- Train and mentor junior and mid-level pre-sales engineers.
- Develop knowledge-sharing frameworks and internal training programs.
- Establish best practices for pre-sales engagement across the team.
- Represent the company in industry forums conferences and vendor events.
- Lead go-to-market strategies for new product launches.
- Maintain advanced certifications (e.g. CCIE AWS Professional PCNSE).
Requirement:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 7 years of experience in a pre-sales technical support or solution engineering role.
- Strong understanding of industry-specific technologies e.g. cloud computing networking SaaS cybersecurity etc..
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
