Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator to manage optimize and secure SQL Server environments across production development and staging systems. The role involves ensuring high availability performance tuning and supporting mission-critical banking applications.
Key Responsibilities:

Install configure and maintain SQL Server in on-premises and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).

Optimize database performance indexing and query tuning.

Implement High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.

Manage database backups recovery and security protocols.

Oversee deployments upgrades migrations and patching activities.

Monitor system health and troubleshoot database issues.

Support developers with stored procedures and schema design.

Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards.
Qualifications:
5 years of experience as a SQL Database Administrator.

Strong expertise in SQL Server HA/DR solutions and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).

Knowledge of backup recovery and security strategies.

Experience in the banking or financial domain is a plus.
