Waxing the City is opening a brand-new studio in Livonia MI and hiring a Studio Manager to lead pre-sale membership sales oversee the grand opening and build a high-performing team. This is an exciting opportunity to launch a studio from the ground up while earning a competitive salary and commission.
Waxing the City is a premier waxing studio brand known for expert services top-quality products and an elevated client experience. We are preparing to launch our brand-new Livonia MI studio and are seeking an experienced Studio Manager to lead our pre-sale efforts and oversee the successful opening and growth of the location.
This is a unique opportunity to lead a studio from the ground up. The Studio Manager will play a critical role in building our membership base during pre-sale leading the opening launch and creating a thriving client-focused culture. Were looking for a sales-driven leader with experience opening new fitness wellness or beauty studios who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to deliver results.
Pre-Sale Leadership: Drive early membership sales by managing outreach campaigns hosting events and engaging with the local community prior to opening.
Grand Opening Execution: Oversee all aspects of the studio launch ensuring the studio is staffed trained and prepared for opening day.
Sales Growth: Consistently meet and exceed membership and retail sales goals through personal performance and team coaching.
Team Management: Recruit hire train and motivate a strong team of cerologists (wax specialists) and guest service associates.
Customer Experience: Deliver an outstanding client experience to build loyalty and increase retention.
Operations Oversight: Manage scheduling payroll inventory and daily operations to ensure the studio runs smoothly.
Community Engagement: Build relationships and partnerships in the Livonia area to grow brand awareness and attract new members.
Proven experience in pre-sale membership sales and opening new studios (fitness wellness or beauty industry strongly preferred).
2 years of leadership or management experience in a customer-focused environment.
Strong ability to close sales and coach a team to do the same.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Driven competitive and motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
Competitive salary: $40000 $50000 annually commission based on performance.
