Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team in Fresno CA. This is a full-time opportunity for a skilled professional who is passionate about patient care diagnostic imaging and advancing their career in a collaborative healthcare environment.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist you will play a vital role in performing advanced imaging studies preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and ensuring patient safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic results.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Operate nuclear medicine cameras and related imaging equipment to create accurate diagnostic images.
- Position patients correctly and select appropriate anatomic and technical factors for optimal imaging results.
- Prepare order administer and safely dispose of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols.
- Adhere to all radiation safety procedures and guidelines to protect patients and staff.
- Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and complete documentation to PACS including proper lead markers and patient history.
- Perform regular equipment checks report malfunctions and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Assist with maintaining a clean safe and organized department environment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Nuclear Medicine Technician.
- Current certification and licensing as required by state and federal regulations.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures radiation safety and imaging equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
