Job Summary

Job Description: The position will support the School of Education and the Early Childhood non traditional programming. The position is grant funded and will support the day-to-day implementation of the Early Childhood PA Smart grants by assisting program directors work to ensure compliant execution of the grants and implementation of strategies at ground level. The position will perform administrative responsibilities related to other School of Education programs.

Location: Glenside

Responsibilities:

  • Support financial and logistical grant management activities.
  • Handle administrative duties such as purchase orders; reimbursement forms; and mailings.
  • Handle conference/event planning and management.
  • Write project reports (e.g. quarterly reports).
  • Collect program data and student success stories for reporting purposes.
  • Interface with child care directors on-site coaches and other partners.
  • Track students progress to ensure that the admit conditions are met within the given timeframe.
  • Schedule regular project meetings provide work updates and keep notes.
  • Support in planning and organizing day to day project related activities.
  • Support the administrative team of SoE.

Qualifications:

  • Organizational skills to effectively handle administrative duties such as purchase orders payments mailings conference/event planning and management.
  • Procedural understanding of grant budgets; following grant timelines.
  • Experience in handling financial and logistical aspects of a grant.
  • Ability to connect with people to gather data and success stories.
  • Experience with writing project reports.
