Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to drive performance and growth across Northern Ireland. Leading the Sales and Service functions
You will lead a geographically dispersed team of Sales Breeding Advisors and Reproductive Management Specialists fostering a culture of excellence accountability and continuous improvement.
You will possess strong commercial acumen cross-functional collaboration skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
You Will
Leadership & Team Development
- Inspire and manage a high-performing team across Northern Ireland.
- Set clear expectations provide regular coaching and embed a culture of engagement and accountability.
Market Insight & Risk Management
- Maintain strong external networks to identify market opportunities and mitigate risks proactively.
Customer Growth & Onboarding
- Partner with Regional Business Managers and Sales teams to identify and convert new customer opportunities.
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure seamless transitions and early-stage customer satisfaction.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Build strong relationships across Genus ABS to support employee retention and customer satisfaction.
Commercial & Financial Oversight
- Monitor performance metrics and P&L data to drive efficiency and profitability.
Brand & Stakeholder Representation
- Represent Genus ABS professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
Health Safety & Wellbeing
- Champion health and safety standards in partnership with H&S teams.
Training & Capability Development
- Collaborate with internal experts to deliver impactful coaching and training.
Strategic Engagement
- Act as a central connector between field operations technical services marketing finance and people teams.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in a geographically dispersed team environment.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing P&L.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to drive customer growth and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of agricultural or animal breeding services is a plus.
- Commitment to health safety and wellbeing standards.
- Experience in cross-functional collaboration and strategic alignment.

Tackling climate change:
