Take ownership of the entire product and make decisions at the product level instead of merely following orders.
Talk with customers.
Do what others dont want to do. You may need to get into areas like telephony.
Encourage the team to improve continuously.
Make architectural decisions.
Help shape the engineering culture.
Ensure our DX is exceptional and makes it easy to ship day 1.
Spend a significant portion of your time coding likely over 80%.
You were the first hire at another company.
You were part of a startup post-Series A from the beginning of the company.
Youre comfortable building full-stack features.
You care about product not just code.
Youve owned something meaningful end-to-end in the past (a product module an infra refactor etc).
Youre resourceful and comfortable with ambiguity. You figure things out.
Youll be part of a strong engineering-first culture. Its still early to join the team.
Post-revenue working with Fortune 500 companies alongside a small engineering team of 4 full-time engineers.
