Become part of our Avionics FPGA/ASIC team within our Displays Computing and Networking organization. As a member of our team you will help develop next generation video processing and network devices for both commercial and military aircraft avionics. You will be involved in the architecture design implementation verification and integration of these high-performance FPGAs and ASICs. This is for a Spring (January start) and Summer (finish in early August) Co-op which is 40 hours a week. You would need to take the spring semester off. This role is onsite in Cedar Rapids IA. This role may be eligible for relocation.

What You Will Do:

  • You develop FPGA and ASIC devices to meet system requirements.
  • You will develop products in accordance with DO-254 DAL A certification and participate in certification activities.
  • You will do ASIC/FPGA verification using inspection analysis simulation and test methods.
  • You will document and review the device level requirements design and verification.
  • You will work with a wide variety of individuals including Engineers Program Managers internal leadership vendors and customers.

What You Will Learn:

  • You will learn about video processing and networking technologies used to develop leading edge avionics equipment.
  • You will learn all phases of the complex hardware product life cycle from requirements through verification while employing the companys engineering processes to produce safe high quality certified products.
  • You will learn the requirements for product certification required by federal agencies.
