Job Title: AR Specialist

Classification: Full-Time hourly / non-exempt

Pay Range: DOE

Reports to: Kevin Johnson Controller

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am- 5pm

Location: In-Office (no remote) 5000 N Basin Ave. Portland OR 97217



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Processing customer ACH check and credit card payments within the accounting system and third-party processors
  • Research and resolve discrepancies and ensure accuracy of data entry within the accounting system to maintain accurate customer shipping billing invoicing and payment records
  • Review of client credit references and analysis of establishing credit limits and credit terms for clients
  • Generation of client invoices and submission of invoices to clients via email and client billing websites

Requirements

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience in accounting preferred


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.



Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time as well as stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
