Create your best future and join Transaction Banking as a Payment Partnership Director.
As a Payments Partnership Director you play a pivotal role in identifying high volume or value payment value chains that exist in Australian industries and building a pipeline of opportunities for Westpac to plug in our payments capability. The pipeline can be built for major merchant acquisition direct or by opening new third party distribution channels from which new merchants and payment volume can be processed on Westpac products / rails. Joining our newly formed Payments Partnership Team (PPT) who is responsible for taking the best of our payment capabilities to market by opening and owning new distribution channels that acquire and grow payment customers outside of BAU sales activity. This is a permanent full-time role and can be based in Sydney Brisbane or Melbourne.
What do I need
- Strong origination skills specific to major merchants or payment partnerships and have experience in managing deals end to end.
- Proven networks to tap into within domestic or international payments and fintech.
- Contemporary knowledge of payment solution categories including in store PayTech e-commerce and broader applications of payments in industry. Your knowledge extends down the product value chain to understand data solutions to automate or integrate payment experience or provide customer insights.
- Superior stakeholder and relationship management skills to drive retention or volume growth through evolving the solutions we provide in the future.
- Strong industry knowledge and communication skills including presentation skills.
