Job Summary

Are you ready to be the heartbeat of our logistics operations Were looking for a detail-driven hands-onShipping & Receiving Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in keeping things moving smoothly and efficiently.

As a key player in our operations team youll:

  • Own the flow of goods: Stage label and load finished products to storage or carriers. Process FedEx and UPS packages with precision.
  • Be the gatekeeper of quality: Receive and inspect incoming materials verify counts and ensure everything meets our standards.
  • Master the movement: Use forklifts hand trucks and overhead cranes to transport materials safely and efficiently.
  • Keep things organized: Maintain inventory of shipping supplies and ensure accurate documentation using our ERP system (IFS).
  • Solve problems on the fly: Handle damaged goods process RMAs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Drive between sites: Safely transport products between plants and warehouses (non-CDL required).
  • Support production goals: Meet efficiency targets follow standard work instructions and contribute to a clean organized workspace using 5S principles.

Required Skills

QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Achievement of a passing score on Spacesavers Baseline Assessment
1-3 years experience operating a forklift and an overhead crane and the ability to acquire Spacesavers Fork Truck and Overhead Crane Certifications
Solid PC familiarity including Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos in the English language. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to other team members. *Please note that translation assistant can be provided through a request to HR.
Proven ability to perform scale weight counts steel weight conversion of materials and other unit of measures devices as well as the ability read tape measures and efficiently operate all other required measuring devices such as calipers scales hardness tester and other measuring equipment.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
Good time management and organizational skills ability to multi-task meet deadlines and be attentive to detail.
Valid drivers license and a clean driving record required to operate company vehicles.
