ABOUT LIFEMOVES
LifeMoves is the largest and most effective provider of interim housing and services for homelessness in Silicon Valley since 1987. Our mission is to end homelessness by providing interim supportive housing tailored services and building collaborative partnerships. With over two dozen interim supportive housing communities and more on the way LifeMoves gives our neighbors experiencing homelessness a temporary place to call home while providing intensive customized case management through site-based programs and community outreach.
POSITION PURPOSE
The Development Data Manager is responsible for maintaining the integrity usability and relevance of data in the LifeMoves donor database. A successful Development Data Manager will enforce and improve upon processes for data entry regularly audit existing records and update them as appropriate and assist internal stakeholders in maintaining and accessing the data they require for fundraising and marketing efforts.
This role is a hybrid role 2 days in admin office and three days remotely.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Donation Processing: Manage timely donation data entry and acknowledgment.
Data integrity: Ensure the accuracy completeness and consistency of fundraising data. Create and implement entry and audit standards that promote data hygiene.
Database maintenance: Assist in resolving database errors and malfunctions.
Account management: Help Development colleagues use the fundraising database efficiently and effectively including batch updates to their portfolios.
Marketing team support: Provide data and assistance to the Marketing team to support their campaigns and initiatives.
Project management and training: Manage small- and medium-sized database-related projects including creating and implementing training for colleagues on new features or processes.
Reporting: Produce standard and ad-hoc reports for regular data auditing purposes.
Supervision: Manage a small team of Development Data Associates and/or Coordinators overseeing their data entry and data hygiene work to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Data integrations: Assist in monitoring and managing integrations with other data systems including Classy HubSpot and Form Assembly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree or 3 years of professional experience in the non-profit sector.
Education or experience directly related to data management documentation and manipulation. Experience managing a relational database Salesforce preferred
Experience using other fundraising-related software and Salesforce apps e.g. Apsona Classy Form Assembly.
Technically skilled with Microsoft Office suite and other productivity software.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a commitment to proactive communication High standards of accuracy and deep investment in the value of fine detail.
Committed to collaborative teamwork and the LifeMoves mission and values.
Prior management experience preferred
