Job Summary

As the Enterprise Fraud Associate Manager you will play a critical role in protecting our organization and customers from fraudulent this role you will manage and inspire a team of fraud analysts fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. You will stay ahead of industry trends by maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the evolving fraud landscape and its impact on our business and customers ensuring we remain proactive and innovative in our fraud mitigation efforts. Additionally you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization to support fraud investigations and provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making and enhance our overall fraud prevention capabilities.

This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days on-site at our Best Buy Corporate Campus in Richfield Minnesota and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What youll do

  • Provide leadership direction and support to team members
  • Lead the development and execution of technology-driven strategies to detect prevent and mitigate fraud across enterprise platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative fraud detection models and automation tools
  • Translate complex fraud risk insights into actionable strategies that align with business objectives and customer protection goals
  • Champion a culture of innovation and agility within the team to stay ahead of evolving fraud tactics and regulatory expectations

Basic qualifications

  • 2 or more years of E-Commerce or Retail experience
  • 6 months or more years of direct or indirect people management experience
  • 6 months or more years of fraud or investigations experience

Preferred qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Experience with Big Query/GCP
  • Proficient in Structured Query Language (SQL)
  • Financial management experience
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely; interface and present to leadership effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
