City Capital are currently representing a highly respected and fast-growing specialist property finance lender who have retained our services to appoint a confident and ambitious Originations Associate at a pivotal stage of growth.

Our client is a leading provider of specialist property finance who have been operating with great success in the market since 2013. They are renowned for their innovative and bespoke approach supporting property professionals including investors landlords business owners and developers with tailored facilities.

Their product set spans bridging finance development exits buy to let and commercial mortgages with loan sizes ranging up to c25 million. Continued growth has been driven by strong introducer relationships repeat borrowers and solid financial backing from the banking sector.

Role Overview

Within the role you will primarily work in support of a Relationship Director and will assist with a diverse range of tasks that support borrowers with access to funds.

Core responsibilities include assisting with the strategic management of introducer & borrower relationships assisting with initial deal onboard and assessments growing & maintaining a pipeline of enquires acting as a key liaison to the credit and underwriting functions and supporting preparations for loan drawdowns.

Responsibilities

Ultimately you will assist your RD and their clients with all activity that supports the successful progression of relationships and loan applications.

You would expect to engage closely with brokers and borrowers building relationships to ensure that you have access to relevant lending opportunities from the market that meet the criteria and appetite of the lender.

Once loan applications are live you will support the onboarding of the required information and documentation for deal assessment assisting with initial checks and the preparation of credit papers. You will manage communications with brokers and borrowers throughout target loan pay outs within SLA.

To support this you will liaise very closely with our clients underwriting and credit functions and will be supported by your RD on complex or technical matters.

You will continue to manage the process throughout keeping administration and logs up to date and will support the loan drawdown process for successful applicants.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate current or previous experience working with property finance loans and would suit an individual from a sales relationship or credit background.

You will be a first class communicator in all aspects and very comfortable managing a pipeline of loan applications liaising with an influencing internal and external stakeholders and delivering work to deadline.

You will require a strong attention to detail the capacity to keep multiple plates spinning and an ambition to grow with the firm.

• Experience working with property finance loans in a lender or bank
• A strong communicator in all aspects with good negotiation skills
• A good understanding of credit principles that drive property lending
• Excellent organisations skills with capacity to manage multiple applications
• Ambition to progress long-term within a high-growth lender

On Offer

Our client is ideally looking to pay up to c60k as a basic salary for the ideal individual relevant to experience. Salary will be complemented by access to our clients favourable bonus structure too which will significantly increase year on year earnings.
