Position description:

• Position for a Member of a 24x7 Infrastructure Operations Team that is highly technical and
  maintains high availability for multiple Cross Platform Products that include Mainframe connect direct Linux connect direct windows connect direct supersession MQ series Mainframe MQ series Midrange windows and Linux Sterling file gateway (SFG) DTV file services and QMS/VPS mainframe and Linux servers for Print support that control the exchange of data between different types of computer systems on prem and in Azure cloud.
• Candidate will be required to work with all Operating Systems and middleware tools along with Network elements that connect them: Windows Linux Mainframe Cloud or Flex cloud clusters

Position Duties include but are not limited to:

• Technical Support- resolve Tier 1 2 and 3 problems for Cross Platform Products as presented by the client.
• Performance Monitoring- Monitor CPP and maintain per vendor thresholds
• Problem Management -Resolve CPP problems engage and address customer impacting outages. Participate in outage bridges root cause analysis. Interface with vendors as needed to resolve problems.
• Software Maintenance- Perform new version functionality/interactivity verification with existing infrastructure for software patches maintenance and currency. Apply changes security patches by CSO guidelines.
• Work Requests- Manage and complete work requests for CPP services. Accept work requests via AOTS USH MOREMQ AutoSFG and PMATT.
• Compliance Security- Manage and resolve CPP compliance security issues. Work with CSO to resolve security concerns as needed. Maintain elevated local right waivers through SPEAR and administer CPP software as needed.
• Certificate Management- provide cipher certificate management for SSL/TLS authentication and encryption for CPP.
• Perform guardian responsibilities for security databases participate in OBCP processes as required.
• Maintain Standards- maintain CPP standards for release/versions usage constraints. Publish incompatibility issues with the current CPP and older OS software prior to release of version. Review and approve TSS exemption requests as needed. Serve as technology manager for CPP to enforce usage standards.
• Consulting and Education- Coordinate with client to address questions and issues regarding CPP. Maintain CPP websites for contact and user documentation and currency.
• Disaster Recovery- Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Incident Management- provide technical support.
• Vulnerability Remediation
