As a technology intern youll bring the knowledge experience and passion needed to deliver our technology strategy and ultimately the Nationwide strategy.
Job Description
Based on your interests youll be assigned to one of Nationwides 200 Agile team-based Software Development lines in core and emerging technologies such as Cloud Kubernetes Java Angular Mobile and Informatica to name a few. Other learning opportunities exist within the areas of data analytics cybersecurity and technology analysis.
During our 12-week program (May August 40 hours/week) youll have an opportunity to mentor job shadow and network with talented technology professionals and senior-level executives throughout Nationwide Technology. The work you perform will be meaningful and integral to Nationwides operations and business objectives.
Additionally you will have the opportunity to participate in our Nationwide-hosted hackathon working closely with business partners to brainstorm ideas apply hands-on programming and ultimately create new business applications.

Youll learn a lot while youre here but we want you to arrive prepared to succeed. Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelors or advanced degree in a technology-related discipline possess a solid track record of academic excellence (minimum 3.2 GPA preferred) a strong commitment to teamwork and learning and are within 2-3 semesters of graduation.

Nationwide does not participate in the Stem OPT Extension program. At its sole discretion Nationwide determines whether to offer sponsorship for qualifying positions based on business need and budget. However it is not usually available for entry level roles.
