Job Description
Liberty FCU a full-service credit union is expanding and growing our Mortgage presence in Eastern Kentucky including but not limited to Elizabethtown Covington Campbellsville and Lexington. We are looking for experienced Mortgage Loan Originators and Mortgage Teams/Groups to join our team. Experience in the mortgage industry is a plus.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limitedto the following:
- Conduct loan interviews discuss programs explain processes and request supporting documentation for loan approval.
- Evaluate credit and financial status of prospective borrowers to make sales of residential mortgage loans.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Credit Union mortgage products.
- Understand and apply all federal rules and regulations associated with mortgage lending.
- Prospect and network building relationships with referral partners.
- Develop a working knowledge of the Credit Unions data processing system loan origination system Word and Excel software.
- Maintain knowledge of available loan products processing procedures and underwriting guidelines.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor or management.
