Work effectively across all levels and functions within supplier quality technology sourcing and our suppliers to identify root cause and solution for design and process defects.Position
Supplier Quality Engineer-PCBALocation
Bangkok ThailandHow Youll Create Possibilities
- Lead supplier quality efforts across sourcing engineering and technology functions resolving design and process issues for metal and plastic components.
- Drive quality readiness for New Product Introduction (NPI) including audits PPAP MCP approval and process validations.
- Support and lead Transfer of Work (TOW) projects by validating supplier qualification readiness tooling and process capability.
- Manage change controls for supplier relocations and material design or process modifications.
- Conduct audits (process product system) and drive closure of quality risks and non-conformances.
- Monitor and resolve supplier issues affecting plant or field performance lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Drive Material Cost Take Out (MCTO) and continuous improvement projects with Commodity-Based Teams (CBTs).
- Support closure of service part backorders and ensure long-term supplier quality sustainability.
What Youll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electronics Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 57 years of experience in quality or manufacturing engineering with focus on
PCBA - SMT MI or PCB.
- Strong working knowledge of Six Sigma PPAP APQP MSA FMEA and DOE.
- Excellent problem-solving collaboration and communication skills.
- Fluent in English and Thai; Chinese (Mandarin) preferred.
- Willing to travel up to 50% primarily within Southeast Asia.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Appliance components in a technical/manufacturing/quality role
- Working knowledge of Supplier or Manufacturing Quality Systems and processes
- Lean experience or Six Sigma certification
- Proven ability to simplify complex information and concisely prepare executive summaries
