Join Our Team as an Electrical Engineer PCBA
Are you a skilled Technical Engineer ready to drive innovation and efficiency in a global supply chain Join Thermo Fisher Scientifics PCBA Centre of Excellence where we build a resilient and cost-effective PCBA ecosystem. Youll collaborate across Manufacturing Quality Engineering and Sourcing to lead technical projects that deliver real impact.
What Youll Do:
- Focus on PCBA electromechanical components/assemblies motors power management and OEM assemblies
- Facilitate Value Analysis & Engineering (VAVE) sessions with procurement and engineering teams
- Drive a multiyear technical project pipeline to unlock cost savings
- Analyze technical RFQs and support redesign platform consolidation and manufacturing improvements
- Partner with our Center of Excellence to fast-track testing lifecycle and design enhancements
What Youll Bring:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering 3 years of experience or longer relevant experience without degree
- Proficient in RFQs cost justification and modeling return on investment
- Strong business insight leadership and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of 6Sigma/LEAN supply risk lifecycle and part alternatives
- Proficiency in MS Office and engineering tools
Preferred:
- Experience in PCBA/electromechanical design or manufacturing
- Background with procurement and EMS suppliers (Tier 1 & 2)
- 6Sigma Green Belt eCAD (Altium) PLM workflows and phased gate processes
Travel:Up to 30% across Germany Netherlands Czech Republic and EU EMS suppliers
