As companies pivot toward a digital business model exponentially more data is generated and shared amongorganisationspartnersand customers. We play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security efficientlyintegrateand manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment and detect respond and remediate threats.
As an internyoullwork as part of a team of problem solvers helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilitiesmayinclude:
Learn cybersecurity concepts such as detectionresponseand attack patterns
Work in an operational environment and learnfirst-handon how cybersecurity operations work in detecting and preventing cyber threats
Assistwith security monitoring detectionresponseand client care
Ensure cyber security incidents are investigatedidentified assessed reported communicated to the client and mitigated
Ensure compliance to client agreements adherence to process and process improvements to achieve operational objectives
Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current Security Operations Framework
Perform threat management threat modelingidentifythreat vectors and develop use cases for security monitoring
Coordination with stakeholders build andmaintainpositive working relationships with them
Enable cyberoperations reportingto support anomaly detection SLAmonitoringor effort / estimate modelling

Whatyoullyoubring to this role:
Available for an8 12 or 16 monthwork term (4 monthwork term may be considered)
Enrolled in post-secondary education in Technology
Ability to code in one or several languages: Java CCor Python
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulatenew ideas

PwCBC Region Pay Range Information
The salary range* for this position is $63000 - $69000 plus individuals may be eligible for an annual bonus payment. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon your skills experiencequalificationsand geographic location.
