Job Description
Job Title: Ultrasound Tech (OB/GYN)
Facility: Dallas Regional Medical Center
Location: 1011 North Galloway Avenue Mesquite TX 75149
Schedule: 07:00 AM 07:00 PM (Saturday Sunday & Monday)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $64/hr (W2) $68/hr (1099)

Overview
Dallas Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech. The Tech will perform diagnostic sonographic examinations and ensure timely processing and transmission of images to PACS. The role requires proficiency in OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery imaging patient care excellence and the ability to work collaboratively within the clinical team.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures in compliance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Capture process and transmit high-quality images to PACS for interpretation.
- Provide sonographic examinations with strong emphasis on OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery.
- Maintain accurate patient records reports and documentation.
- Ensure proper patient care comfort and safety during procedures.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment; report any malfunctions or service needs.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification: RDMS (ARDMS) or ARRT (S) certification required.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or current certification as noted above.
- Experience: Strong background in OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery sonography required.
- Licensure: Current BCLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire; must be maintained.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PACS and general computer skills.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication attention to detail and patient-centered care approach.
