Job Description

state head / assistant sales manager Company description / Organisation / Department

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to lead and grow a sales team within a dynamic and expanding organization. You will play a crucial role in achieving ambitious sales targets and building strong relationships with key clients.

Position description / Job description
  • Manage and lead a team of 2-3 sales executives and technical sales representatives.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet annual targets and expand the customer base.
  • Oversee the selection and onboarding of distributors across the state.
  • Establish and maintain effective systems and processes at distributor locations to drive daily business operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers B2B customers and fuel forecourt owners.
  • Drive weekly monthly quarterly and annual sales targets in collaboration with distributors and their teams.
  • Identify and acquire new B2B customers through active prospecting and channel development.
  • Coordinate the execution of marketing plans and brand promotion events within the assigned territory.
Expectations / Requirements

Were looking for you if:

  • You hold a Graduate degree with an MBA in Sales and Marketing.
  • You possess 5-10 years of experience in sales management preferably within the fuel forecourt lubricant or automotive industries.
  • You have a strong understanding of the assigned states geography and have worked in the same area for at least 2-3 years.
  • You have experience in managing and developing sales teams.
  • You are proficient in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
  • Knowledge of additives business is a plus.
  • You possess strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are organized results-oriented and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
