Job Summary (List Format): Regional Sales Manager
- Promote and sell companys products through a network of Manufacturer Representatives within assigned region.
- Develop and assist with annual sales volume and market share goals for the territory.
- Facilitate attainment of sales targets through effective activities and relationship management in the region.
- Represent the company professionally to build strong relationships with the HVAC community and business partners.
- Travel up to 50% of the time often on short notice to meet with Manufacturer Representatives engineers contractors and clients.
- Complete and manage monthly regional sales forecasts and annual market forecasts.
- Participate in trade shows industry meetings presentations and educational seminars as required.
- Conduct weekly research and review of construction data and report findings to Manufacturer Representatives.
- Perform quarterly reviews of market data with Manufacturer Representatives.
- Review project take-offs for accuracy pricing alternatives and sales strategy.
- Develop a thorough understanding of company products system applications and sales tools; train field sales representatives.
- Maintain a Representative Assessment including customer/competitor information SWOT analysis and action plans.
- Requires a Bachelors degree in Business or related field.
- Requires 2-4 years of sales experience (HVAC industry preferred) and 2 years of business management experience.
- Must be proficient in MS Office and skilled in spreadsheets business reporting and construction data applications.
