How will you make a difference
As a Mechanical Assembler I you will learn to assemble many different product lines. You will be responsible for performing basic assembly operations on mechanical components subassemblies and final products according to engineering specifications and quality standards. The position requires the employee to be on-site during the scheduled shift to perform daily duties and responsibilities.
Schedule:
Monday Friday 7:00am 3:30pm
What do we want to know about you
High School Graduate
One year (1) of experience as a mechanical assembler or similar.
Knowledge of standard hand tools and power tools and their proper use.
Recognition of standard hardware sizes.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Ability to follow documented procedures and work standards.
Ability to respond positively to feedback and implement changes in process and procedures as needed.
Ability to read and interpret assembly and process documentation.
Ability to see read and observe small handwriting labels and components.
What will your typical day look like
Reading and interpreting assembly drawings and process documentation.
Assemble basic mechanical components subassemblies and final products according to detailed blueprints schematics and work instructions.
Using hand tools and pneumatic tools to assemble electro-mechanical products with minimal supervision.
Inspect assembly parts for defects and final assemblies for completion.
Complete daily schedules based on productivity levels assigned by supervisor(s).
Perform special processes like spraying conformal coating and applying potting to a variety of electronic assemblies.
Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S protocol.
Ability to wear necessary and required PPE.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Employee is regularly required to see and observe small labels and components.
The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment with frequent exposure to electric tools occasional loud noises and possible exposure to fumes.
