Job Description
We are on the lookout for an accomplished Senior Cloud Developer with extensive experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to become a key member of our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing building and optimizing scalable cloud-native applications and solutions that prioritize performance security and reliability. This role demands strong technical leadership practical development expertise and a collaborative approach to delivering enterprise-level cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Cloud Architecture & Development.
- Design develop and deploy scalable applications leveraging AWS services (e.g. EC2 ECS Lambda S3 RDS DynamoDB API Gateway).
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Optimize workloads for cost scalability performance and security.
- Application Development.
- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.
- Develop APIs and integration layers for enterprise systems.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment strategies.
- Security & Compliance.
- Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices IAM policies and data protection standards.
- Partner with security teams to embed governance monitoring and incident response strategies.
- Collaboration & Leadership.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and engineers.
- Collaborate with DevOps QA and product teams to ensure seamless delivery of cloud solutions.
- Participate in design reviews code reviews and architecture discussions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in cloud development with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS.
- Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Python Java or Go.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker Kubernetes ECS/EKS).
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline etc.).
- Strong understanding of cloud networking security and monitoring (CloudWatch X-Ray ELK/Prometheus/Grafana).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform AWS CloudFormation).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability work in agile environments.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
- Contribute to OP technical discussions peer reviews etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
