Job Description

Job Type: Comprehensive Surgeon

Subspecialty: Cataract/Refractive

Practice Location: Evansville IN & Henderson KY

Population: 130000 draw area 360000

MD Or Corporate Owned: MD Owned

Reason for Job Opening: Succession plan

If Physician is retiring how much longer will Physician Work: flexible

Partnership Opportunity: Yes

Retirement Program: 401K plan that the current owner and employees participate in.

Current patient volume: last 12 month 7388

Estimated Surg Volume for this role: Currently about 320 cataracts/year YAG/SLT/LPI 390; also do MIG’s procedures including i-stent Durysta Kahook etc.

Support Staff: 2 reception 2 billing 1 Optician Admin Clinical Manager/Scribe 3 Technicians. Many of our team have been with us for more than 10 years.

Hospital Call: we do not take hospital call; do majority of our cases at ASC and are on courtesy staff at both major hospitals in town – Deaconess and Ascension/St. Vincents

MDs on Staff: 3

ODs on Staff: 1

OD Network: OD’s referring consistently and continue with outreach to increase referrals.

Refractive Surgery – Lasik/PRK: 150/year currently

Laser - O.R.: VISX laser suite in office

ASC: Eye Care Surgery Center (wholly owned)
