Job Purpose
This position is responsible to ensure data management governance for Group Finance.
Job Responsibilities
- Creating and enforcing policies for effective data management:
Formulate techniques for quality data collection to ensure adequacy accuracy and legitimacy of data.
- Devising and implementing efficient and secure procedures for data management and analysis: Pay attention to all technical aspects.
- Establishing data sharing rules: Support others in the daily use of data systems.
- Monitoring and analyzing information and data systems:
Troubleshoot data-related problems and ensure data security and integrity.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends:
Make recommendations to upper management.
- Collaborating with other bank business divisions:
Develop and implement strategies for growth and profitability.
- Assessing risk and identifying potential issues:
Implement solutions to mitigate them
Formal Qualification
- A bachelors degree in information systems computer science maths finance business or a related field.
- Formal data management qualification like DAMA
Experience
- >3 years Data Management
- 1-3 years Banking or Financial Services
- Financial Knowledge
