South Africas leading online retailer is looking for a highly talented INVENTORY CLERK to join our team in Johannesburg

Purpose of the Role:
The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for managing andmaintaining accurate inventory records ensuring that allinventory-related activities are conducted efficiently and incompliance with company policies.
This position reports to the: INVENTORY MANAGER
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting
- regular physical counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or overages to the Inventory Manager.
- Assist in the receiving storing and issuing of inventoryitems.
- Ensure that all inventory items are properly labeled and stored in designated locations.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of inventory items.
- Prepare and maintain inventory reports including stock
- levels usage and discrepancies.
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of inventory management systems
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean andorganized inventory storage area.
- Collaborate with other departments to address inventory-related issues and improve processes.
Qualification & Experience:
- Grade 12
- 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or logistics.
Attributes Required:
- Ability to lift and move heavy items stand for extended periodsand perform repetitive tasks.
- - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and MicrosoftOffice Suite (Excel Word etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multipletasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements related toinventory management.
