Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Skyline is North Americas largest steel foundation construction products company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Nucor Corporation (NUE) North Americas largest steel manufacturer. Skyline is looking for a Business Development representative to join our Team. The opportunity will be remote and based in Florida or Louisiana and responsible for the Southeast Region.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Proficiency with CRM (Salesforce) utilization tracking and maintaining customer data.
Prospecting and maintaining strong effective long-term relationships with customers agency and consultant clientele in the territory.
Successful utilization of technical expertise to educate our clients on Nucor Skyline product capabilities and determine the optimal steel foundation solution on a wide variety of applications.
Industry marketing and education through technical presentations conference attendance trade organization participation and overall active industry involvement.
Identification and development of strategic opportunities for growth of the market for steel foundation products.
Development of initiatives to promote Nucor Skyline into growth markets and execution on those initiatives.
Partner with Nucor Skyline customers who have in-house engineering capabilities to help grow and develop relationships between our teams.
Minimum travel of 50% both local and overnight is required
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Civil Engineering Structural Engineering Geotechnical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years of relevant steel or construction industry experience
Preferred Qualifications:
P.E. license or the ability to obtain a license in due time
Experience in heaavy civil construction project management
