Salary: $18.62 (Plus weekly production bonus)

Basic Job Functions:
Safely operates forklifts to move stack and load materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. Responsible for pulling packaging and preparing orders replenishing stock and transporting materials between storage departments and shipping areas.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Able to read blueprints and schematics
- Proven experience operating forklifts
- Ability to use measuring tape
- Ability to read and understand verbal and written instructions
- Prior experience working in a warehouse and /or manufacturing company
- Basic reading and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as Material Handler and Inventory Control
- Certified to operate forklifts
- Prior ERP experience
- Knowledge of storage procedures and planning procedures
- Knowledge of 5S Lean Manufacturing
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
