Basic Job Functions:
Vulcraft located in Norfolk Nebraska is seeking to fill openings geared toward developing Drafter/Modelers with no prior experience. This will be a temp to hire position.
You will be trained to use our customized TEKLA program to create 3D Models/Drawings of joist deck grating building systems or structural members based on customer contract drawings. These models/drawings are then used to specify the exact information required by our various plants and divisions to produce the end products that fulfill our customers specific needs. You will be communicating with our customers and will be required to resolve all issues throughout the drafting/modeling process. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate to VNE or NDCs Norfolk NE facilities and willing to work overtime when required to meet commitments.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Minimum five years of verifiable full-time work history
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using drafting software
- Construction experience
