Job Description
Key Responsibilities May Include:
- Analyze data and manage stock to meet demand while preventing overstocks ensuring optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor and control stock at plants and manufacturers to optimize capacity reduce costs and ensure proper stock rotation.
- Use forecasting tools such as SAP JDA and Excel to manage orders and predict future demand based on business needs.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain and commercial teams to align business goals with budget and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and update optimization tools to streamline planning processes minimize unnecessary movements and improve operational efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports on stock levels forecasts and operational performance to support data-driven decision-making.
- Coordinate production planning and logistics to align production volumes with customer demand and safety stock levels.
- Lead initiatives to prevent overstocking and enhance storage stock rotation and transportation plans maximizing handling capacities.
** YOUR MISSION ** WHAT WILL YOU DO **
The mission of the role inside the strategic planning is to minimize costs through the timely process optimization as well as managing cost reduction opportunities across the whole Supply Chain network.
TACTICAL PLANNING
- Develop production and flow plans ensuring high service levels at low cost
- Identify & forecast & implement flows
- Build optimal network location /capacity /plans
- Deliver scenario and contingency planning framework
- Work with JDA parameters
- Ensure maximum level of automation in JDA
FORECASTING
- Gather field intelligence regarding customer ordering behavior
- Maintain customer forecast profiles
- Maintain JDA statistical forecast
STRATEGIC PLANNING
- Be an essential part of the S&OE (Sales & Operations Execution) process
- Manage use of CHEP optimization tools to deliver accurate data & reporting.
- Track outcomes of short term planning & budget to forecast demand depict trends and assess variances
- Complete ad hoc analysis as required
- Identify short medium and long term opportunities for company direct cost saving and assess their potential impact
** WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR ** :
- Computer: Strong Excel Skills is a must
- Nice to have: SAP (ERP BW / BI) JDA Power Query Power BI.
- Personal: strong communication skills is a must (including proven communication background to higher management positions)
- flexible; collaborative; problem-solving; comfortable working in an international environment; team player; strong analytical skills
- 1-3 years of business experience in Analyst role
- Fluency in Polish & English language
