Southside Racing operates high-class horse racing and training facilities at both Tynong and Cranbourne as well as three 7-day-a-week hospitality and entertainment venues the Cardinia Club Club Officer and Silks Cranbourne. These are a vital part of our business and allow us to provide our members with a wide range of hospitality and entertainment options.
The opportunity
Southside Racing is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Casual Horse Stalls Cleaner at our Facility at Tynong. Reporting to our Training Services Manager.
The detail.
Previous experience with horses is not necessary as the horses will have vacated the area before your shift begins. The role of the Horse Stalls Cleaner is to clean and present the horse stalls and associated infrastructure in a clean and tidy manner following daily training preparing the stalls area for use by the Southside Racings resident horse trainers.

- Clean and maintain horse stalls and surrounding areas to a high standard.
- Ensure waste disposal and hygiene practices meet racing facility standards.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and machinery.
- Work independently and efficiently within a fast-paced environment.
- Follow all occupational health and safety regulations especially around horses.
