Job Description
Encora is looking for aFull Stack Developerto join one of our largest healthcare clients! This is a 3 month project with high likelihood of extension through 2026. You will work 100% remote supporting EST work hours.
Our client is building an integrated orchestration platform designed to streamline complex workflows and deliver a seamless experience across multiple stakeholders systems and environments. The goal is to create a highly efficient technical solution that automates a series of interconnected tasks improving scalability reliability and user experience.
While there is a React-based frontend component this role is primarily backend-focused requiring deep expertise in building and scaling robust APIs services and data workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain scalable web applications and APIs usingPython (FastAPI)and.
- Implement and optimizeGraphQL APIsfor efficient data access and client interaction.
- Build and maintain dynamic responsive user interfaces using.
- Work withPostgresandNoSQL/DynamoDBdatabases to design schemas write efficient queries and manage data flows.
- Deploy manage and scale applications usingKubernetesandAWS cloud infrastructure.
- Ensure system reliability security and performance across the full stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-quality features.
- Participate in code reviews contribute to best practices and mentor junior engineers when needed.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 36 years of experienceas a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency inPython (FastAPI)andfor backend development.
- Hands-on experience withfor modern frontend development.
- Solid understanding ofPostgresandNoSQL databases (DynamoDB or similar).
- Experience deploying and managing applications inKubernetesandAWS.
- Proficiency withGraphQL(queries mutations schema design).
- Strong knowledge of software engineering best practices (CI/CD testing code reviews).
- Excellent problem-solving debugging and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with event-driven systems or messaging queues (e.g. Kafka SQS).
- Knowledge of DevOps tooling and infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform CloudFormation).
- Prior experience in high-growth startups or enterprise-scale applications.
